salad? This easy Chopped Wedge Salad is my go-to whether I’m at home or out to
eat! Blue cheese & bacon together are always a good idea!

INGREDIENTS

strips bacon

head iceberg lettuce
·
1/2
cup blue cheese dressing
·
1/4
cup blue cheese crumbles
·
1/2
cup croutons, optional
INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Heat
oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil. Place uncooked bacon on
foil. Bake for 15-20 minutes until bacon is crispy, flipping once. Transfer to
a paper towel-lined plate. Once cool enough to handle, chop bacon.
2. Remove
the outer layers of the lettuce head. Rinse lettuce and pat dry. Use a knife to
remove the core of the lettuce. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
3.
Divide
lettuce among 4 salad bowls. Drizzle each bowl with 2 tablespoons blue cheese
dressing. Top with 1 tablespoon blue cheese crumbles, and 1/4 of the bacon. If
desired add additional toppings like croutons. Serve immediately.
NOTES
- This recipe makes 4 side dish size servings or 2 meal size servings.
